They got nothin' on you !

Good day to you all!

It's truly been awhile. Life has been hectic as usual. Lots of projects and tests, finding out I'm doing poorly in mathematics ( being asian has failed me D: ), family problems, and whatnot. It's a rough ride right now, but I'm hanging onto the rails somehow. Ew I just opened my window and smell skunk. That was random, but annnywhoozle..

A bakery called Galaxy Bakery recently opened on a street near where I live, so being the food fiend I am, I decided to give it a go! The prices were out of this world! Sorry I just had to say it :)

I got mango mousse cake and sponge cake ! The bakery worker girl wouldn't put my mousse cake into a box because I needed to buy more cake for a box, so she just plopped it into a bag. Thankfully, it was not harmed. Both were quite deelish nonetheless!



Also got a new friend :

QUATCHI! First glance it looks like an ordinary stuffed animal, but...

It's actually a backpack! Olympic merchandise is kinda pricey for me, but I caved and bought it! Ooh my willpower is too weak for my own good.

Back to homework! Gotta rewrite my socials essay. We were supposed to write about the impact and perspectives of World War I and I wrote about weapons. o_o

My jellyfish went missing on my way home .

Good evening, all!

Just a quick post before I head off to bed! Today, I worked on a bio project with my friends worth 210 marks! I was in charge of putting the whole poster together. When I arrived at home, I unrolled the poster to finish it off and discovered this :


A jellyfish picture had fallen out while I was walking home! ): The blue square was where the picture resided before it fell to its fate. Sadly, I don't have a printer to replace the image so I tried to make a dupe..


I also couldn't find my pencil crayons, so I used old eyeshadow to colour it in! This poster looks so childish. Probably because of the bright colours :)

ANYWHOOZLE! I hope y'all have been awesome as usual this week! A lotta fortunate things have happened for me :) Very surprising since I'm like a black cat that roams and roams.

I'm sure you guys know that the Vancouver Olympics have started! Sometime last week, ( I'm gonna say Wednesday or Thursday ) the Olympic torch runner was scheduled to run on the main street near my school, so we were all released early to show off our Canadian spirit. Yeyeahhh!



As the torch runner approached, the crowd swarmed him down, asking to take pictures with him! I was amongst that swarm, but didn't get a shot with the torch runner. ): I got to touch the torch though when he wasn't looking so that made up for the photo. :D

Today, I celebrated Chinese New Year with my family!

Amongst my lucky money, my aunt gave me Japan yen instead of Canadian currency for my upcoming trip!


19 more days till the Japan trip! Very very excited! I've also been looking into some homestay programs in Japan. I'm thinking about staying over in Japan after I grad for a little bit. Just a far fetched idea for now.

Small purchases of my fancy

Helllo all!

It's been a while since I've posted anything, so here's something quick before I scurry off to bed. :)

I recently bought 2 polishes and the book, The Looking Glass Wars. This book is top notch! I stayed up till 4 am yesterday reading it! Also scored this hardcover for $5.99! I definitely recommend this book, even though I'm only halfway through. :)

On a different note, while I was walking to the bus stop, I passed this house with what I thought was a real dog in their front yard. I took a closer look to discover that it was a ceramic dog! Does anyone else but me find it kinda weird? It's probably there to scare off birds and such, but it scares me too. o__o
