HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Helllo fellow bloggers!

2009 is finally finished and it's the year 2010 now! I hope you all had a lovely new years eye/new year! I honestly can't believe a decade has flashed before my eyes already! Even 2009 felt like it only lasted 6 seconds, but that's probably just me. :3 My new year's resolution is to stop spending so much moolah! I'm also saving up for my Japan trip in March, so spending as little moolah as possible is a must! What's your new year's resolution? :)

Today, I celebrated my friend's birthday! I made him a cake for his birthday, but being the smart little girl I am, I forgot to grease the cake pan TWICE. The cake stuck to the pan & I had to bang really hard on the bottom of the pan to get the cake out. Good news is that the cake did come out, but it split in half and some of it crumbled. SCORE! I fixed it with icing, but I ate the cake crumbles so I couldn't fill the holes with the original cake.

How did I fix this predicament? I used hot dog bun to fill in the holes and then covered the cake in frosting so you couldn't even tell I used hot dog bread. :)
Birthday boy didn't notice so we're goooood :D

I also want to thank everyone who has supported my blog! I started this blog not too long ago & was kinda iffy about it, but everyone here in the blogger community is aweeesome sauce!
