An overdue post of yum yums

Hello gals!

It's been a while since I've posted something, so here's a little something :)

Over the weekend, a couple of friends and I went to an asian mall. I was hoping to score some clothes or whatnot. Instead, I found the next best thing: FOOD!

I've always seen shaved ice and always thought, "I could easily shave my own ice cubes at home and add fruit on it!". Yeahhhh I'm glad I finally tried it out, because I could not create shaved ice to save my life! This one's called "Formosa Treasures". It had glutinous rice balls, taro, black rice, and red beans with condensed milk on top. I tried it with lychee flavoured shaved ice. It looks really gross, but tasted pretty good.


We later ate at some restaurant that I forgot the name of and found an ENGRISH mistake in the menu :


I ordered XO sauce seafood fried rice :


Craved another shaved ice, so this time, I tried a strawberry one :3



A new Japanese crepe place called Mazazu Crepe ( Mother's Crepe in Japanese ) opened and had to try that out too. I ate a crepe with red beans, glutinous rice balls, ice cream, and green tea powder on top. They jipped me by putting green tea powder instead of green tea ice cream like how it was shown on the menu..YAY! It was wrapped up nicely though :)



Some of the cream dripped onto my jeans. They all laughed because it resembles something else. My friends are a bit sick.


Anywho, I hauled some snacks and two of the new OPI Alice in Wonderland polishes!


Absolutely Alice, clear polish with blue and silver glitter! 2 coats


Mad as a Hatter, clear polish with multicolour glitter! 2 coats


I had a bit of trouble applying Mad as a Hatter. The brush kept on changing shape on me, becoming really flat if that makes sense. It's probably just my noobness with the lacquers. Removing these were a pain in the butt for me too. I use a cotton pad with polish remover on it and it took me about 2 minutes to remove one nail! The glitter really grips onto your nails. 3: But, that could also be my noobness at work .

Other than that, loovely colours! Very very glittery :D

All in all, I ate so much that day I felt like I was going to explode! Did my pain teach me a lesson? Yeah, but food tastes too good to pass off !
